Just after dusk on a warm summer night,
Black waves broke white in the wake of her path
She slips, unnoticed, into sea towns,
Not many have seen her, fewer have lived
And another Dal write. Except this one I never finished. I remember I was so aggravated with the people in my class, so I ran out of time and had to just slap an ending on, never finishing it; I didn't go back, either. Pretty stupid, which is why I didn't return.
In the city that lay by the sea,
While people ate dinner in cozy homes
Not thinking of troubles the ocean can bring,
She skimmed over water, going towards town.
And beat always against her with strength.
The wind dared not touch her, not the moon’s light,
Yet still she moves on, pushed by the unknown,
Unseen, unheard, unacknowledged by most.
And dances with metal, flirts with the law.
Behind her is fire, destruction, and death
With her go riches, as much as she’ll hold
The town and she sing a quite different song.
To tell tale of the mystery ship.
