Summary
The storm washed them ashore, or so old Mr. Miller claims. Few believe the old fisherman on much of anything, however life in the small coastal town of Tipswich does change drastically beginning the night of the great storm, the night the McPherson children found two strangers stranded on a rainy road, one as unsettling as the other is silent. As time goes on, the need to figure out just where the two strangers come from becomes more urgent, however the answer may very well tear the McPherson family apart.
