On March 18th, Jessica Elaine was born. Her, her mom, dad, big sister, and two big brothers lived in a small village in Hawaii. But trajedy struck. When Jessiey (as she was called) turned three her mom got a deadly version of AIDS. Byt December Jessiey’s mom was dying and eveyone knew it. Jessiey and her family spent days on end at the hospital by Sarah (the mom’s) bed. Finally, on December 24th Sarah passed away. Her final words were, “I love you little Jessiey.”
Being an average tot she cried for the loss of her mother. Her father cracked under the stress and lost all sense of control. He beat Jessiey until she stopped crying. Her brothers and sister were nice and helped when they could. But Jessiey’s older brother became jealous of the attention that Brett the dad gave Jessiey, even though it was negative. So unknown to anyone but Jessiey he shot both Ashleigh and George. Jessiey witness(ed) both murders while hidden.
For the next year Jessiey lived under her father’s abusive hand and her brother Bert’s deadly one. Finally when she was almost six, March 15 to be exact Jessiey and her dad were watching tv. Brett told Jessiey to get the remote. She got up to do so. Not only was her father abusive but he was a(n) alcoholic and cocain addict. Her drunken brother walked in with a gun and pointed it at Brett’s head. Jessiey turned and shrieked. As the dad fell with a bullet in his head he said, “Jessica I love you.” Brett never saw Bert and thought that Jessiey had killed him.
Bert left and took up acting in Asia under a fake id. Jessiey fled to her best friend Hoku. Hoku gave her all the saved up money the two had collected and sent Jessiey away with a hug. Jessiey flew to Kansas. But Jessiey felt trapped hidden in the woods. So she traveled South through the mountains until she came to Tulsa. Jessiey lived on that journey by making friends who fed her a day or two.
Once in Tulsa she illegaly got a job delivering packages with the postal service. She carried this job out for a month. In January she delivered a package to 1613 Skylark Drive, the Stronson family. Mrs. Stronson invited her in for hot chocolate and some clean clothes that a cousin had left over. Jessiey made immediate friends with Josh. Within a short distance (time, lol) she was laughing with Lauren and Vanessa. The last four members of the family, Mr. Stronson, Robbie, Tanner, and Chris came in.
By the end of the day the whole family loved the high spirited girl. Everyday the family invited her over. When Mrs. Stronson found out that Jessiey was sleeping on the streets she was given a room. When Jessiey turned seven she was part of the Stronson family, doing everything with them. Hoku mailed Jessiey all her things that Jessiey had left in Hawaii. Chris, Robbie, and Tanner had started a band the year before and accapted (accepted) Jessiey into the group, even if she was a brunette (??).
After years of work the band became popular. And that is where you see them today (though we all know Jessiey is the nicest, smartest, etc.) By; Jessiey
1. Oh my gosh. I think this is one of the funniest things I’ve EVER written. I died laughing just typing it up. Let’s point some of the hilarious things out.
2. Jessiey’s mom contracted a deadly version of AIDS. Very few undeadly versions out there.
3. “He beat Jessiey until she stopped crying. Her brothers and sister were nice and helped when they could.” ROFL!! I meant they helped her out, but the wording was a tad bit...off.
4. “So unknown to anyone but Jessiey he shot both Ashleigh and George.” I bet Ashleigh and George knew.
5. “As the dad fell with a bullet in his head he said, “Jessica I love you.” Brett never saw Bert and thought that Jessiey had killed him.” Because, you know, it’s not like bullets to the brain kill you instantly or anything.
6. Brett and Bert. Bret never saw Bert. I think that’s one of the best name combinations in the world.
7. “Bert left and took up acting in Asia under a fake id.” What the heck?
8. The deal with Hoku is that about this time I was going through a big Hawaiian phase (this would be when I started learning Hawaiian). I wrote a story later where the main character’s name was Hoku. It’s actually pretty cute, but pretty dang long.
9. The whole running away to Kansas (why Kansas) and traveling to Tulsa and working for the Postal service (??? as a six-year-old?).
10. Now don’t you agree that, despite being pretty grim in parts, it’s hilarious? I was ten when I wrote this, I’m pretty sure.
