Summary
It can be argued that the Larkin family began with the birth of Rosemary, and then began all over again with each following birth. So quickly does the face of the family change, almost as quickly as the world around them as World War I, the Depression, and World War II ransack America. Births, deaths, and weddings are never missed, though, and life for the Larkin family rolls on. An American family doing their best to live the American dream.
