Early one morning in hot old Texas, walking
down the street, I stopped at a house to get a drink. Then
when I whent back to the car . . . it was full of snakes.
They must have got in the roof. After I chased the snakes
out of the car, I got in and drove home.
When I got home there were snakes in my backyard. I called
the animal control. They took them away. Then something
was in my house. It was a giant squid. I was scared. I
didn’t know what to do. All of a sudden I wroke up it was a
dream.
Then the lights were on . . . the oven was cooking something
. Whatever it was it smelled awful. It was skunk. Then I
looked again . . . and the skunk was my dad, and the snakes
were my cousins, and the squid was my mom. They were all
wearing costumes. (AN: What the hell?)
I ran into my room and got on my costum. I was pockahantas
(AN: poor thing, trying to spell Pocahontas) for
Halloween. I had a great time. Then it was bedtime for me.
I dreamed about a fairy and a princess. The next day was
normal and from then on every day was normal. (AN: As
in, I lived happily ever after?)
Written: Had to be Age 7 because that’s when I was
Pocahontas for Halloween.
